Is this Love?

a poem by Vikash

I am intoxicated,
Smeared,
And replenished
By your presence.

Your voice
Enthrals me,
As every word you articulate
Captivates my ears.

Your scent
Fills my thoughts
With serenity
And tranquillity.

Your touch
Besieges me,
Feeding the intense desire
To keep you in these arms.

Your lips,
Poised and precious
Magnifies the opulence
Of unified embrace.

Your smile
Exudes an aura of faith,
A circle of belief,
An ocean of bliss.

Is this love?

I am alone,
Demented by your absence,
Beaten and abused
By your rejection.

My thoughts are laboured,
My essence – surrendered.
I am crying out
To you (for you).

This affliction
Of corrosion drains me
Time sings this song
That shreds at me.

These molten memories
That we spawned
Drive me, beat me
And shower me with dejection

I am alone,
Again.
I am crawling through
The wreckage you left behind.

I ache hold you
I desire to be blessed by your voice
I brave the absence of your smile
I am betrayed by non existence of your embrace

Is This Love?
