Provocation

a poem by Siddharth Panicker

Life was that,
There was all joy;
I thought of the world, it’s beings to be gracious
And led life in the maddening fair
Having lots and lots to share!
Lost the life, I lost the soul
And also the human in me
DEAR! Hear, the world is a complexity galore
Sadness is experienced when only at fore
A day and I forever, failed time and again
I don’t know still, life for me is a boon or a bane
My instincts still, fail to refrain
The fear of THOUGHT! ANGUISH! DISDAIN!
