Haiku (Clichés)

a poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

I pity shy bluebells
written about so often
now a sad cliché
————–
Dandelions too
have become gloomy victims
of lyrical abuse.
—————
Water lilies pink,
in the gardens little pond
are blushingly trite.
—————
Cheerless orchids try,
unsuccessfully to hide!
when a poet’s passing by.
