About You

a poem by Satheesan Rangorath

Words get stagnant.
Sounds just choke in the throat.
Drying the expression,
Distorting meaning

All my efforts in finding you
With in words jumble
Drains me out fully
Turns futile

I wish I could install you
In my lotus heart
Adorn you, and then adore you
Cover you in petals of my feelings

You are everywhere
Nevertheless, I do not see you anywhere
Often you giggle, tickle, and tease
No. I fail to catch up with you.

Deep from the ocean, you wave.
From the deep blue sky you look down,
Form the air, from the fire,
You kindle the hearth, molding life.

You do fondle a microbe
Embrace a mountain same time.
You dance to a cosmic tune
Merging yourselves in to rhythm

I want to stick on to you,
As a tiny dust on your feet,
Kissing softly on your petal feet
Listening to your anklets chime
