All You Craven Mass

a poem by Srinivasa Prabhu

All thou craven mass, why now bemoan?
For thou had all thine age begone,
Squandered in the servile realm
Of Insanes’ dream: Theism.
Though reasons premonate, thou wouldn’t cede
To celebrate the Idealists creed,
But inseminate thy knowledge seed
With the deceptive weed and breed,
Till derisory knowledge its confinement find
In the degenerative system of the Religious mind.
For all thy wealth lie a fallow
Only to perpetuate wisdom shallow,
And evolve into a cluttered sum
Immured in Religious Dogmatism.
