The Heat Sources

a poem by Gowdhaman M

Since man struck the fire,
The wood comes handy,
For a bonfire or
Any need for heating.

The wood fired power plants
Are no reality any more.
But bagasse now
Known source for
Heat generation.

When coal and oil are found
Aplenty a fuel,
They put many
Wheels in motion.

The fast exhausting fossil
Has made great landmarks
In the history of man and science.
Whether it all get exhausted
Or lead to greenhouse effect,
Which is first?
Still not known.

The solar heat may be
Termed abundant
Though low temperature heat source
When viewed with other sources.
If the versatile fossil
Gets exhausted forever,
It is not the end of hot flame,
The bio-gas option
May as well bubble up.
