The Light Aspect

a poem by Gowdhaman M

Heavy hearted in the darkness
Till the Light came upon
When I saw the light again
It couldn’t be taken lightly.

As the light dawns in the east
The Birds fly and spread.
In the realm of life and science
Light keeps the eyes wide open.

When the father of light the the sun
Puts the curtain,
The lamp brings people closer,
The eyelids prepare to close.
Illuminating every object
After all, all we see is light.

Leaving no remains to feel
Though it scatters.
The ray penetrates
The matter more subtly
As it obviates.

The colour of light
Is composed and
Presented White!

One may see thousand stars
In unforeseeable distance,
But man had known
To light locally
Since he struck the fire.

The unknown is
Whose vision is it
To light the cosmos.
You find light everywhere
In the slender candle too.
