Incredibles

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

The Sun desires to skip his daytime duties
and gets ready to sweep into the brightening times of moon light nights
with all the might he can exert at his command just to look smart
and with all the strength and fervour showing down to appear beauteous

The sea with all the disenchantment it has with salt water streaks
wishes to shed its width and length at some obesity centre
and trims to gallop into valley of streaming rivers
in a disguise if possible to quench the thirst of living organism at large

The waves too want to change their destined directions originally towards the seasons
and weave hot blows in winters and cool cool breezes in summer strips in all
Autumn fashionably dressing the trees with afresh and anew tender sheens
and Spring mowing ahead to denude the branches to make them bereft of their waving heads in tunes

Cuckoos and Koels express to dance like peacocks in tandem
and Crows determining to show their acquired talents at random
The Rose flowers ordered to weave venomous fragrance
and Conifers vowing to distribute sweetening fruits

Forests frisking forward to dried meadows in lots
and Deserts to take shapes of green wood forests
The ships swearing to swerve swiftly on earth plains
and Camels to swim speedily in sea water sprints

The sky deciding to crawl on muddy water planks
The earth affirming to fly high in azure skies
Death delivers the life springs to all flora and fauna
Living beings clasp and clap defending the dreams engulfing the incredible stow chats
