A Haiku, Gardens verse and Zen

a poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Butterfly on a sill
Paled and folded its wings
Breeze blew it away.

Garden Verse

The equality of snow
Falling silent in the night
Makes my garden look
The same as, her next door.

The inequality of spring
When her garden is full of
Roses and mine is full of
Weeds and rusty car parts.

Zen

Deadly beauty
Rainbows on
Oil spill.
