Dreams

a poem by Vidhya Jayarama Raja

Slumber spreads it’s spell
Senses silenced
Masks that matter melt
Magic conjured by mind catapults
Into the dare-devil domain of dreams
Tossing aside
Terrors that taunt and tease
Fresh like a flower’s fragrance
Awakening forgotten frontiers
Slipping past silhouettes
Visions whisper of wonders
The world will awaken to
A travel in time
Laughing at the lighting
Running along a rainbow
Dreams that dare
Deserts to bloom
Like dandelions disperse
And disappear at dawn.
