Waiting, ofcourse intentionally

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

When my soul strikes the waves of the sea
At the strands of loose sand particles
The heart eventually builds castles at the beach stands
Putting my mind completely to unknown hardship

When my glances are shot at the blank, unclouded sky
The rain of the incessant tears surprises me
The air that breezes comfortably to safer zones
Shocks me at times with its blasting performances

I sit and wait for my beloved! lonely
With deep stripes of affection hovering around
And expect her at any time to arrive at today itself
To hug me tight with showering affinity and sprinkling love
