Sorry Doll

a poem by Sushil Sundrayal

CASE I

Sorry Doll!
I forget to make you the call
But it’s not my fault at all
In fact, now-a-days I am extremely busy
So busy that I have forgotten to all

People say I’ve become crazy
But for me it’s not so easy
Not easy for me yet to fall
Though fantasy is further than China’s Wall

Let me remain just a busy
It’s much more joyful than to fall
Expecting excuses being a busy
A busy guy belongs to Garhwal

So sorry Doll!
I forget to make you the call

CASE II

Sorry Doll!
I made you the call

That brought for you the saturation time
And for me to go into the planet of rhyme
The call made on that Saturday
From where we had to choose the new way

You picked the way better for you
And narrate the best where I should go through
At first I frightened and drowned in grief
As the way for me was too risky and brief

Half-hearted I started my journey
But soon I forgot all the agony
As the new planet is boundless and beautiful
And everyone is free to write the truthful

First they refused for my admission
But finally got on your recommendation
On your consent they made me call
So should pay thanks to Doll!

Also should not forget to say sorry Doll!
I made you the call.
