The Fate

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

When I smile so soft
You hit me hard

When I express my delight
You expand your despair

When I desire for spring
You shower autumn cries

When I wish the winter clouds
You dispatch simmering summer

When I sincerely love the life strings
You bestow death bells

Who are you with so much of violence
Please note I am the ruling fate
