Real value of money

a poem by Shah Pravinchandra Kasturchand

Give me a hundred million dollars;
I will show what its really worth.

Then I can buy best of eye glasses;
But cannot buy the natural vision.

I can habitat very costly castles;
But can’t purchase family and home.

I can join the very costly college;
May not necessarily gain knowledge.

Rich drink, rich food at my service;
And no thirst, no appetite can I buy.

Don’t give me such million dollars,
And make me such very wealthy poor.
