Benediction

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

Life is not an artist
Ispo facto a human
Designated to depict
Pains as paints
On the large canvass space
All the times a hell of it

Why away from pleasures
The work made out like that?
To reach grim or grave yards
Not the aim or ambition to be

Let us invoke or have benediction
To Auspicious hymns
In praise of the lord
To have pleasures aboard
Thus creating a haven on earth
As a berth for heavens
Today, tomorrow, or day after
My Lord!
