Your Touch is Genuine

a poem by Elaine E. Howie

Touch me tenderly my lust will expel
A inside sense of my obvious smells
Touch me softly and I will melt
But you will remember all that you felt

Now touch me with love and call me by name
I will touch you with love and do the same
If you will just touch me once more
I will never let you leave out that door

I will hold you close
I will make you see
That your touch means so much to me
I will laugh with you I will cry without you

But please touch me even if I should die with you
Because when you touch me my friend
I skip a breath I gasp and I know the touch is yours in
The End
