One searching look

a poem by Satheesan Rangorath

One searching look.
Then anxiety
A deep sigh
At last a smile.
The eyes rove
All around
Deep and subtle
You always smile
From the corner of your eyes
Speaking volumes of deep love
You were carrying from far behind
In the depth of your blue eye
The ocean
The aeons
The stars
The depth of galaxies
The stars and moons
The deep blue sky
The puffy clouds
Your eye lashes shine in stardust
I feel you are watching me always
Touching my senses
Disturbing me pleasantly
Yes. I carry you as an exotic feeling.
All through
When the smile spreads on your lips
A glow envelop you on your face
Your lips gleam
Your pure white teeth glare in darkness
An exotic bloom of jasmine
Breeze gracefully carries the aroma of your laughter
Slowly you enter in to my heart
Tickling my senses
You woke me up
Somewhere in my dream
Showering me with rose petals
All over my body from your heart,
Waking me up from my dream
Embracing me in to your fold
I merge in the depth of your devotion
Turning myself a devotee of yours
Still I feel the warmth of your lips
