Optimism

a poem by Sushil Kumar

To think of the worse that may happen to you,
and make your life ruin before that actually comes true,
but what about those which you don’t think,
fruitful, jovial which comes in a blink.

To repent on the worse that has happened to you,
And multiplying the sorrows which initialises a few,
what will be the life full of fun and happiness,
sorrow makes you enjoy it else it is meaningless.

To disappoint on having the taste of failure,
makes your moral down like a lost sailor,
but being lost makes him to discover new destination,
and you being lost have to move with new aspiration.

To curse yourself when your love deceit you,
the disappointment surrounding even you being true,
but what you have lost mere a faithless one,
you being faithful, look at thou’s loss who has gone.

To be frightened on the approaching death,
which is certain, uncertain the life’s breath,
let’s destiny owes the fear, you to your deeds,
which accompany thereafter when your heart no longer beats.

To be pessimistic overshadow the bright,
to see through the darkness needs the optimistic sight,
if you thing good, the same follows your sense,
the magic of optimism sweetens your bitter experience.
