Solace

a poem by Shilpa Shinde

Solace I seek it
Only in two things in life
One is gazing out into the sea
The delight of feeling the nothingness around
To feel embraced by the empty space
Inside the voids of the mind
I wish,
I could drink in the sea
Melt down into the voids
That their remains no sea and no me

Second is gazing at his face
To feel the warmth and comfort
In his soft beautiful eyes
Wish I could nestle deep within them
Just like the shiny liquid, which holds them
Every time they open
Every time they see
Wish all they see
Is me
