I saw her,
Gallop across the green grass.
She looked elegant,
As she moved in great class.
Such even strides she took,
And moved so swiftly,
Her soft silky mane,
Bounced so beautifully.
Over a stream she jumped,
With a lot of grace.
And all of a sudden,
She quickened her pace.
In her lovely eyes,
She had look of recognition.
And now her galloping,
Had a certain amount of determination
Then I knew the cause,
She had spotted her little kid.
She hurried towards him,
And lick him, she did.
The sight of reunion,
Oh! it was really wonderful.
And the pair together,
They looked beautiful.
Together they went home,
The kid followed his mother as she lead.
The glamourous mother,
Had a white star on her forehead.
Such a sweet creature,
Who had grieved over her loss,
She sure was wonderful,
And a real ‘Black Beauty’ she was.
