Provoke and Brainwash Peace

a poem by Jayati

Generations away first cousins. Who would say?
Over material flay? I am, I have, I can – have knots
Hey! you and am, can
Monster barrels, stop this, quarrel. Or is it an eye wash?
Need is peace no speech screech.
Garrulous drill, shrill cry kill. Attack civil, measly skills
Fly petty, misuse poor, air and jetty, convince
It’s good cause. Drug in lollipops. Rush chaps
half asleep into an unknown. Experimental guinea pigs!
Take tips, try another taste, known as success-
Become ‘Age Old Buddha’ in peace.
Beat about the bush, no results. Wield power, fresh ideas
Days are different threats help? Friendship does. Here’s advice.
Or the goal, a mirage. No happy win.
Stakes are too thin.
Petty cash fill suspense accounts, doesn’t make world leaders.
Correct orientation does. Truth hurts, arrow that assassinate
wild egos. “Non-violence can rescue deterioration,” voice
the wise old man, ‘Buddha’ to which many laugh in scorn.
