Tension

a poem by Satyanand Vijay

I can feel the tension,
Or is it apprehension,
What in the world could it be,
That’s going on inside of me?

There’s a load on my heart,
I’m turning into a worry wart,
My mind’s going for a walk, nay, a jog,
The road ahead is hazy with fog.

What’s going to happen tomorrow?
Is it going to bring joy or sorrow?
