Poetry defined

a poem by Shah Pravinchandra Kasturchand

Poetry can delight,
It also can ignite;
It can be a storm,
Can also be quiet.

Poetry is pleasure,
But is not leisure;
Poetry is treasure,
If it’s in measure.

Poetry is from words,
As sky is from stars;
Poetry, singing birds
A prayer from minars.

Minus public, the show!
Minus readers, poetry!
So poetry is real thou,
And poetry is real me.
