a poem by Purushothama Rao R

When I was alone and start to think
My present times appear almost to blink
Future seasons with no face to form look just a blank
Past alone deemed to fare well without any sink
Yet I find no pleasure to object the nights to wink

When I sit alone on the sands at strand
The azure sea teaches me the ways to withstand
Pleasure or pressure when in turbulent wand
I can sit straight tightly I am now told
Just to bow my head to look brave and bold

When I sit alone and see the grown up tree
My ideas suddenly commence to breathe all free
In integrity and honesty I am really on rising spree
With tilting leaves weaving waves with smiles in glee

When sit alone and glance the clear sky
The about to clasp clouds enrages me to try
My hopes and desires like freed birds start to fly
I don’t the answers sincerely to all the questions ‘why’
