Let me be!

a poem by Shah Pravinchandra Kasturchand

There is fragrance flowing from me around;
The flowers everywhere in garden, ground;
Music flowing from wind’s and birds’ sound;
Spirit soaring high as though heaven bound.

I am not in love nor the love scene near by;
Friends and frenzy have slipped by bye bye;
No sweet dreams, no moon beams breathe
And still I can see, sea of joy is marching by.

Well of joy, sky of high, happiness encasing;
Blood turned milky, flesh looks power flash;
Bones are pounding, lungs to win, dashing
Why I am in this, a happy and joyous mess?

Gods of earth! Angels of heavens! Mercy!
Back my pains, return my aches, let me be!
