Thy will be done

a poem by Mabel Annie Chacko

The will of God will never take you,
Where the grace of God can’t keep you,
Where the arms of God can’t support you,
Where the riches of God can’t supply you,
Where the power of God can’t endow you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the Spirit of God can’t work through you,
Where the wisdom of God can’t teach you,
Where the army of god can’t protect you,
Where the hand of God can’t mould you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the love of God can’t enfold you,
Where the mercies of God can’t sustain you,
Where the peace of God can’ calm you,
Where the authority of God can’t overrule for you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the comfort of God can’t dry your tears,
Where the Word of God can’t feed you,
Where the miracles of God can’t be done through you,
Where the omnipresence of God can’t find you.
