Pause and Decide

a poem by Shah Pravinchandra Kasturchand

Came out of the empty car,
Time was night, little dark;
Looking around near and far,
Finding none near the park.

I was dressed in suit white,
Bag full with currency weight;
Diamond watch, goldful chain
Gold rings, now chest in pain.

I traced the group of rowdisomes
Talls and tallers, very fearsome;
Lurked the fear of mug and loot,
Pain in the chest began to shoot.

From far, the tallest to me moved
Raised his hand in menacing look;
Before for a help I think and ask,
‘Hi friend’ said he, and all passed.
