Felicitations

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

OH! MY BELOVED!

Shower me not with your freezing hard kisses
But squeeze me out with your warming wishes

Tower me not with your desolated embarrassments
But cover me in lots with your unfolded embraces

Inundate me not with your wooing or cooing stances
But with realities ruling high in our sweet romances

Influence me not with your whinnying whims and fancies
But with all your winning strategies of racing horses

Question me not with your feeble quibbles
But answering the thirsts of mine with no further squabbles

Felicitate me not with your priceless gems pearls or diamonds
But just with your soul satisfying voiceless venerations
