Bullet Love

a poem by Elaine E. Howie

They know just where to hit
And when they do the love never miss
You get real weak in the knees
Yeah you want this bullet love girl please

The powder of the romance smells so sweet
The aim of cupid is so unique
And for sure you will be mine
I got this bullet love and it just takes a little time

When I first saw you standing there
I knew I would shoot straight from anywhere
I could not lie to you I could not fabricate
I wanted to make sure that you love was aroused on my plate

It took just a little while for you to see
That all this bullet love was from me
And now it has been 16 years
And I have no regrets know hidden fears

I know that I pulled a big win
Because you are my lover, my mentor, and my friend
So I put away bullet love for you
The end
