a poem by Shah Pravinchandra Kasturchand

We are all alone, said my girl friend;
Tell me some things about you today;
I yearn to hear those lovelier words;
I will love to hear what you will say.

My wife is pretty as much as you are;
My children lovely as much as you are;
My home is heaven as much as you are;
My life is lively as much as you are.

I wish I had met you few years before;
Could have been lucky to be your wife;
And mother of all your lovely children
And made heavenly and lovely this life.

Still I am lucky that I am your friend;
You find she in me; when she not around;
I am also lucky; that you are my friend;
My world is intact, when you are around.
