Saviour

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

When on a day
I am soaking and sulking
Under thunders of a sudden rain
You took me to the covers
And sheltered me from the splashes

On another day
When winter whale winds
Are thrashing all my body
With chills and shrills
You lead me to warm chambers
And spread on me woolen rugs
Thus protected me from the cold wraths

On some other midsummer day
When the severe sun began to
Blast me with hot shines
You took me to some cool resorts
And extricated me from the odd encounters

Who are you my dear!
You are my philosopher
Friend in need and a guiding star
None other than my Lord beloved!
