My Way

a poem by Benna Rao Goli

I walked my own way of troubles
Stumbling over many obstacles;
I felt the anguish of sins that bound
As I crawled away from all sounds.

I kept thinking- don’t know what
But always several things were sought;
I didn’t know which way to go
But I oft thought of it much so.

Then I leaned to God to guide
And promised, in Him I abide;
From then all my way is okay
As He walks with me in my way.

No more I stumble and fall
As He clears my way and all;
My way is never more dark
As He leads it with a significant mark.
