I’d lowered my blinds to be alone
I’d ignored the moans of lone
I’d seen and my heart roamed
without a measure
Neither did I find’em, I’m alone
with myself now for sure
Now when I look around me
I see eyes laughing at me
But since solemn am I be
from my thoughts have faded the glee.
Often at the sky I look
And oft I hear a lonely chirp
I ignore it all, in darkness I wail
‘Coz I’m in lone and gay I can never avail.
