Silent Dreams

a poem by Siddharth Bhattacharya

Like a child
Looking outside the window
Staring at the moon
Wishing it to be held in the eyes
The twinkling stars
Behold my imagination
A blue light enters
Walking through like an angel
Into the roads of the mystic past
Wondering… could it be mine???
No thoughts of tomorrow
Enter the realm of dreams
No pains no sorrow
Sleeping through… the silent dreams
Water flows through the rivers
Dancing along with the moon glow
Flow forever the waters
As I take them in my hands
They flow away back to where they belong
To dance again
Like the time that belongs to none
The darkness and night behold the beauty
Walking through the golden corridors
Witnessing the imaginations come true
The clouds arrive to greet me
Take me in their cold arms
Cuddled like a small child
Dreaming with the God
For an Eldorado reigned by angels
Awaiting for the golden day
Run away… the mystic streams
To the land so far away
Loving memories of… the silent dreams
