You are like summer is

a poem by Aanavi Malik

They were
Like milk cake
Sweet
Tooth aches
Diabetes
And then ants
And festering
Rotten
Curdling in the heat

They came
Like the early
Winds
Before storms
And then died off
Like settling sand
Scorching
Parched

And afterwards
There was sun
Gayness
Grit and rocks
And the cool
Like shade
Happy
Good
