Those nights,
Those dreamless nights,
Which haunt my sleep some days.
I find myself,
In the hallway of darkness,
Wherein amidst between anyway.
I see no way out,
No walls surround me.
All I see is darkness,
Darkness all around me.
Each and every thing I have,
Every thing near me,
Seems to go far away,
Far away beyond my reach.
When I look here,
When I face there.
All I see is darkness,
Darkness all around me everywhere.
The sun rays come to my rescue,
They break open my eyelids.
The heat escapes my body,
And the sheaths of sweat break open.
I tilt my neck to the sides,
And all I see is brightness,
Brightness around me,
Sleeping through me from all sides…
