Three Little Pussies

a poem by Padmini

Three little pussies went to town.
One’s name was Micky, she wore a crown.
One’s name was Soofy, she wore a gown.
The third’s name was Duffy, she became a clown.

They rode in a carriage which was all brown.
They passed through the fields where rice was grown.
They saw a lot of carrots which sure looked like a cone.
They went ahead and saw a man with a frown.
Pussies bought all they wanted plus an woolen gown.
