The day sets with a bang, my heart beats in pang…
I was in the college lawn!!!! as usual, playing truant

There I saw a girl, maybe of first or second standard!!!!
Cross-legged she, sat chatting her with pals!!
She was so beautiful to look, even the sun had to peep!
I want to touch, feel her in my self but she goes without giving me a look

I searched the college in vain… but she was nowhere to be seen.

I found her but in strange land, there she was with her boyfriend!
My heart cried, my soul bleed, all my dreams seem to fall!
But that’s life after all!

Today if she reads, ’The start’, let her know I love her!
My soul cries to tell ‘may peace be with you!’
