My Angel

a poem by Ranadeer P

I sat alone watching,
the departed leaf twirling down.
The grass with dew caps,
stood waiting for something.
The breeze was still calm,
waiting to touch her.
Suddenly a strong wind
blew my hat off my head.
I had turned to take my hat,
when I saw this angel.
I walked upto her,
and kissed her on her forehead.
She moved away,
and stepped on a thorn.
The dew caps turned into blood caps,
as she sailed across me.
I knelt before her,
and lifted her soft legs.
I had by then become a vampire,
to suck those sweet droplets.
She then walked past me,
as I stood watching her.
She then turned back,
and left an immortal smile.
Is there anyone in this world,
to tell her that I’m still waiting.
