Left out to wither…

a poem by Sudarshan Madhav Karhale

Why am I so lonely?
No one accepts me.
A monster of their nightmares,
is all what they see.

The rain burns my skin,
as if it is pouring acid.
Once a sweet voice to them,
now sounds acrid.

Wind blows dry past,
scraping off the remains;
I am slowly losing myself
to the dark domain.
