A Fairy’s Tale

a poem by Thirupurasundari

Angels sing for me sweet tunes.
Elves and Gnomes in my own world
Dance for me the cosmic dance.
The rainbow cuts a channel to my heart.
Twin suns rise in my eyes and shine.
The whole of my being rejoices in love.
A divine tranquillity encompasses the soul.
A girl as lovely as I there never was,
Than when I was with you.
A magical shower drowns
Me in a sweet revelation.
But do you promise this magic forever
Or, are ‘forevers’ good only in fairy tales?
