The last look

a poem by Swapan Dutta Roy

I saw the fragile look on her face
As we departed.
The looks became more and more furious,
As if trying to find something.
Lips held tight, but heart spoke out,
Eyes poured heavily,
Creating a deluge in my heart
Her hair gushing and hand pushing,
Trying to make a way.
From past to present we had traveled,
Traversed am unceasingly love path,
Now at the end of the road
We didn’t even bid fare farewell each other,
I still remember her last looks,
It turned from witty as she heard I am leaving
To dirge as I went by.
I still remember her last look!!
