I saw the sun rise from the sea
As it filled new vigour in me
I strolled my way on the beach
Saw birds flying to the sun’s reach
As I saw the ocean green
My mind tried to plunge into the scene
Waves splashing on to the shore
Confidence increasing more and more
Palms ashore as they sway
On golden sand as I lay
About my future as I dream
Astonishingly bright it does seem
It was a dawn on the beach great
Success probably sure in my fate!
