Had tears any colour,
Befitting my vellum to ink;
Words be written miles across
For each stroke of nib, yielding a pearly drench.
Of closeness in love can’t I make known,
Like the words I’ve inked on parchment
With a colour so void, to be seen;
So does my love, camouflaged in emptiness…
