Now I Know

a poem by Patrick Healey

There I go once again,
Looking around in my head.
I think I’ve found it,
I think I know,
Where it is I need to go.
I found a mirror in the corner,
I see what I see,
Yet I know not what I see.
I hear a still small voice,
It crescendos in my ear,
So loud I’m lost.
I know not what I’m doing,
But all along I’ve known.
That in the corner it’s hidden,
Just waiting to be known.
All I had to do was listen,
It made its self clear.
If you believe in Jesus,
He will always be there.
In your heart forever,
And in his tender care.
