Lament… June,1997 – March,1998

a poem by Ngurduhzuala

We ruled in our own world,
With me and my ‘ol friends.
We lingered the days and never
Thought of the ends.
‘Cause we could do what we want
And took them all for granted.
But fate came from nowhere,
Took our lives apart.
Now we’re blown everywhere
Like autumns’ fallen leaves.

I miss the days of our lives.
I long the days we’ll meet again.
I’ll try to get on
With my own;
Till the day we meet again.
