Don’t go…

a poem by Mint

Don’t go.
For, you will be taking the fragrance with you
What will I do with stale flowers?
For, you will be taking the colors with you
What will I do with ashen nothings?

Don’t go.
For, you will be taking the sweetness with you
What will I do with tasteless honey?
For, you will be taking the melody with you.
What will I do with just the song?

Don’t go.
For, you will be taking the fire with you?
What will I do with the ash?
For, you will be taking the thirst with you?
What will I do with water?

Don’t go.
For, you will be taking the feelings with you
What will I do with empty words?
For, you will be taking the inspiration with you
What will I do with broken heart?

Don’t go.
For, you will be taking the breath with you
What will I do with the pulse?
For, you will be taking my soul with you
What will I do with the corpse?

Don’t go…
Don’t leave me to exist!
