Bliss

a poem by Anup Chandran V

Tranquility touched in this poetry in green,
varying shades savouring the soothing sheen.
A breeze so gentle, a caress so light,
trembles and sways, the leaves in pretended fright.
The cavourting oneness of the earth and the stream
nothing is a burden, everything a dream.
Hopping and darting in chirrupy delight,
the tender wings take to air in colours bright.
Silence comfortable in its warm perch,
to be in reach for those who search.
The grass welcomes in the silken embrace,
this heaven on earth, one is privileged to grace.
