Remember it!

a poem by Chaitanya Pragada

Enjoy your life
Don’t waste it.
Spread your knowledge,
Don’t bury it.
Believe in your strength,
Don’t underestimate it.
You have endless wisdom,
Don’t search for it.
Pray for your success,
Don’t rely on it.
Wait for your chance,
Don’t miss it.
Seek other’s help,
Don’t forget it.
Go for your goal,
Don’t divert from it.
Your weapon is humanity,
Don’t lose it.

Lost in space

a poem by Chaitanya Pragada

I was wondering why you were not in this place,
Until I knew I was lost in space.
The dark heavens made me realize,
Without you, I’m from paradise.
Seeing your face in the distant stars,
I thought I could survive even on mars.
The view of the rings of the lovely Saturn,
Showed me how you changed my life pattern.
Your call from the earth with both hands stretched,
Made me sad, for I’m forever trapped.
There’s nothing other than you that really mattered,
Remember me after my pieces of flesh are scattered.
I am dying here not because of water or air,
But because I couldn’t say to you “I care”.

War on Humanity

a poem by Chaitanya Pragada

In the age of Adam and eve,
There were no weapons up their sleeve.
The world advanced to the Stone Age,
In which they hurled stones in rage.
They had gradually found metal,
Which is more dangerous to handle.
Years later, they discovered gunpowder,
Which multiplied the extent of disaster.
Technology advanced to invent nuclear weapons,
Which can destroy everything at once.
There has been a huge production of arms,
Which are now utilized against the norms.
While they are meant for man’s security,
They are now used to declare war on humanity.

India

a poem by Chaitanya Pragada

A holy land with great religious importance,
A fertile land with tremendous agricultural significance.
A land with great heritage and culture,
A land with no cruelty and torture.
A land where great scholars are born,
A land where the character is not worn.
A nation with true democratic spirit,
A country with scientific and technological credit.
An island with evergreen environment,
A nation racing away rapidly towards development.
A land with great love and compassion,
A country with strong and ideal foundation.
An endless sea of great knowledge and wisdom,
It is a vast unrulable kingdom.
This is my great motherland India,
Where we can find a lots of bindhiya.

Loneliness

a poem by Chaitanya Pragada

Flower without the wake-up call of the bee,
Stream before joining the large sea.
Hill without the moist touch of the cloud,
Tree when there’s no sight of the bird.
Earth without the drops of rain,
Fire during the absence of air.
Early morning without the sun,
And life without enjoyment and fun.
Winter without the flakes of snow,
Sky without the company of rainbow.
A lover sitting alone in calmness,
No words can describe their loneliness.

Dream girl

a poem by Chaitanya Pragada

I can never find a word to describe her,
I merely have anything to offer her.
There’s no one so composed in world history,
She turned out to be a great mystery.
She’s not a fairy; she’s not a goddess,
But she just leaves you thoughtless.
She always appears in my dreams,
Flows through my heart like lovely streams.
She never gives out her identity,
She’s very far from this community.
She’s someone special to deal with,
But, meeting her just seems to be a myth.
She’ll reach me someday or the other,
To create a lovely and romantic weather.
