This generation strongly condemns
The brutal murder and torture of
Millions of fellow human-beings
In the name of races and religions.

Let not our future generation condemn
Our treatment of POWs and extremists
And the rude methods of our police.

Let not our younger generation tell
Our democracy in real action
Was far from democratic reason.

Let us review and refine our methods
So that our grand-sons and daughters
Can rightly and happily be proud of us.
